91% Of Fans Think The NBA Influences Games Through Refs
Published 6/12/2008 at FanIQ Blog
... Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals between the Lakers and Kings, I've always felt that the league has influenced games. That was only reinforced in my mind during the 2007 playoffs, when Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw got suspended for taking a step onto the floor during that fight against the Spurs. And it only got stronger when several Celtics players during this year's playoffs DIDN'T get the same treatment as Stoudemire and Diaw when they did the exact same thing. ...

Winning Game 6 in Atlanta

Five advantages for the Hawks, and five countermeasures by the Celtics. Most important for the C's, make this a defensive game. The Hawks have scored 81, 77 and 85 points in the losses, and 102 and 97 in their wins. It’s no mystery that the Celtics focus must be on controlling the tempo and playing the team defense that gave them the best record in the NBA.
