The Jets invited 34 non-roster players to this weekend’s rookie minicamp, none of whom are wrestlers.
Wrestlers?
A year ago, they brought in a few collegiate wrestling champions, guys with previous football experience. Obviously, none of them panned out. The Jets looked into it again this spring, but their efforts were undermined by another sporting event that may attract more worldwide attention than a Jets minicamp.
