LeBron James' words to his mother: "Sit yo ass down." Sure, she didn't have to be as involved in a LeBron-Paul Pierce off-the-court, wrap-up-foul scrum. And of course LeBron was in the heat of the moment. Still, he barked at Gloria with the command of a bread-winner. [link]

    Oh Truth About It, that's only half the story. LeBron later apologized and said he overreacted because he couldn't bear the thought of Papa Stern banning his mom from future games. He needs her there. +7 man points.

    I know, I know....the heat of the moment.

    But if Dan Gilbert can prevent his boy from being kicked-out for throwing a shirt at DeShawn Stevenson.....then I'm pretty sure that LBJ's momma is untouchable.

      Good point. And maybe she knows it and pushes the envelope which would be frustrating for LB. I was at the game and couldn't see what was happening from where I was sitting. Got a text message from a friend asking me who the woman was and had no idea what he was talking about. Didn't even know there was a woman. Parts of being there are unique - high fiving total strangers. But parts of it are better watched on TV. I wish both our teams could win.

    She wasn't even that much into it......

    And honestly, the first thought that I had when I saw it at regular speed was that he didn't want his mom to catch an unintentional elbow......

    But the lip-reading and the look on his face was pretty funny.

Ouch. Simply ouch. Clearly, we see LeBron say to the woman in the striped shirt, “Sit your ass down!” That woman is Gloria James, LeBron’s mother. Don’t get me wrong, LeBron James is a class act… but that was a classless act. Especially so close to Mother’s Day.
