The Brewers expect to activate Jeff Suppan from the disabled list to make tonight's start against his former team. Suppan went on the 15-day DL after hyperextending his right elbow taking a swing earlier this season. [link]

A Marlin pitcher that may prove useable, Anibal Sanchez, is getting an extra day off, according to Phillips.  His next rehab start is now set for Thursday at Double A and if all goes well, he could return to the Marlins rotation for July 29.  That’s not a start I would use him for, but he certainly has the potential to be a pitcher worth watching in all formats.  Derrick Goold of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (click here for the article) is reporting that Jeff Suppan will get the start for the Brewers this evening ...
