... -Pitt's next opponent, Notre Dame, barely beat lowly Rutgers today, 71-68. The game was at Rutgers but Pitt will travel to South Bend on Thursday, where the Irish have won 34 in a row. ND is ranked 18th and Pitt will drop from the rankings. The Panthers really need a win, since they are slipping into the middle of the Big East pack and still lack an impressive road win. Snapping a 34 game streak would do the job. Pitt looked terrible at Marquette, but they always play well coming off a loss. I wouldn't be surprised to see the upset. ...
