If you get the impression that the New York Yankees can’t beat the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim you aren’t imagining things.
A quick look at the regular-season numbers using Retrosheet.org reveals that the Yankees have not had a winning record against the Angels since 2003. Counting the last two games the Yankees are 15-28 against the Angels during that time.
