The New York Giants believe they have gotten to the bottom of the nagging calf injury that has sidelined versatile defensive lineman Chris Canty, one of their prized free-agent acquisitions. Canty underwent a procedure designed to stop bleeding in his calf that was preventing the strain from healing, according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger.
