The Raiders have signed another defensive back named Derrick Brown, except this one is Darrick Brown, SS, McNeese State. Brown is a four year letterman in track and field and also in football. His brother, another defensive back from McNeese State signed with the Cardinals.

The consensus pick to be released by the Raiders was Lamont Jordan. The shocker is that Dominic Rhodes is the first back to be released by the Oakland Raiders. Rhodes only had one season left on his contract, so the cap hit shouldn’t be too substantive.
