The Yankees suffered their first Game 1 loss of the postseason last night, as the Phillies padded their lead late en route to a 6-1 victory. Starter CC Sabathia was hurt by two solo shots from Chase Utley, while Cliff Lee went the distance allowing just one unearned run. Once Sabathia had left, the close game fell apart for the Yankees. Damaso Marte let up both inherited runners from Phil Hughes in the eighth, and then Brian Bruney couldn’t make it through the ninth.
