fastbreakblog +1I cannot stand Mark Cuban. He is an obnoxious, arrogant idiot. He cannot stand to have his team have some limelight, as he always has to be the center of the attention. I really hope the Mavs go down in anohter first-round fiasco.

... And now there’s a new wrinkle. Today on his blog, ESPN’s Henry Abbott announced that he’s on his way to Dallas to try and cover tonight’s Lakers/Mavs game. I like Henry a lot, but this just seems like he’s trying to antagonize Cuban and the Mavs. ...

While we await the results of Henry Abbott bumrushing the Mavericks’ locker room tonight, Dallas Basketball.com’s Mike Fisher overheard the following bit of levity last Wednesday.
“Germany has produced lots of champions!’’ laughs Dirk Nowitzki as he enters the locker room after yet another Mavs victory.
“Really? Name one!’’ challenges Jason Terry.
“What about Max Schmeling?’’ offers Dirk, name-checking the great heavyweight champion boxer of the 1930’s.
Replies Terry, a rather astute sports historian: “He beat Joe Louis once, ...
