But Chelsea signing Deco for £7.9million will improve the quality of the Premier League in ways that Ronaldo can’t. So if the ins and outs of the summer mean Cristiano Ronaldo leaving England and Deco coming in, then the Premier League will be better off for it. Maybe not in terms of reputation.
