Mining the Gold RushQB Shaun Hill has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. On Sunday, Hill completed 15-20 passes for 213 yards. He threw for two touchdowns and ran in another one. For five consecutive drives in the first half, Hill led the team to touchdowns. Hill had a perfect passer rating (158.3) in the first half of the game and finished with 142.3. His performance jumpstarted the 49ers into a 35-3 halftime lead and ultimately led the 49ers to their first victory since Week 3.
