Cholly's decision to start Jayson Werth in center last night sure looked sound through eight innings. The long-legged mack daddy (as J-Werth is known in my house) made the routine plays, and knocked in 4 of the Phils' 5 runs. [link]

Last night, NBC 10 News followed around Philly PD as they prowled the Citizen Bank Park parking lots for underage drinkers. Not surprisingly, they did so on "Dollar Dog Night." The results: 91 minors busted, 7 juvies (under 18), 8 people produced fake IDs and 9 were cited for disorderly conduct. (Yet some drunken stumble bums still managed to make it into the stadium).
