Detroit Tigers blog — ... me, that will depend on the price of Everett. Dlugach shouldn't hit any worse, to be sure, but I don't think his glove could possibly be as good. Santiago is another idea, but I think he works best as a backup when the manager chooses the right spots to play him. Either of the last two are obviously the most cost and flexibility efficient.
