Yes, Daddy, But Why Are The Mariners So Bad?
So many reasons not listed here:
Ichiro doesn't hit with enough power for a .281 average to be acceptable.
Richie Sexson continues to disappoint, with a weak .202/.294/.420 line despite seven homers.
The rotation is the fourth worst in the AL; it's Felix Hernandez, Eric Bedard, and below-average after that.
