Chuck James was sent packing back to Richmond Thursday after his pitching stunk up
Coors Field. I sort of questioned the very fact that he was given the start
after not throwing hardly anything in spring training and only pitching in
simulated games the last few weeks. Surely we would have done better with Jeff
Bennett getting the start or even Buddy Carlyle.
