Syracuse University basketball recruit James Southerland will need another year of prep school before entering college, but the extra year just might be worth the wait for the Orange. Southerland staying in prep school one more year
The Orange Squeeze — ... A while back I had talked about forward James Southerland (6'6" 190 lbs.) having his grades good enough to come to the hill and be on Jim Boeheim's squad right from this year. I guess I spoke too early, since it seems that while his grades were good enough for the NCAA, Southerland's SAT scores weren't.
