Rodriguez seemed a bit too concerned about the extra two bases with one out in the sixth inning of a 7-0 game, but a passed ball and an RBI groundout from Shelley Duncan got Alex home with the final run of the Yankees 8-0 victory. So the Yankees got what they'd been desperate for, not just a win, but a clean, crisp victory with errorless play on the bases and in the field and dominating performances on both sides of the ball. ... Yankees 8, Orioles 0: Man, they needed that. Rasner impresses (7 IP, 5 H, 0 ER). Chamberlin pitches two innings of relief as a means of stretching out his arm so as to get him ready for starting. So basically, Kennedy/Hughes is Rasner/Chamberlin, and could have been Rasner/Chamberlin/Santana, but I suppose we're past that now.
