It appears that attempts by Toronto FC to lure former Portuguese star Joao Pinto to its Major League Soccer side has hit a bump in the road. Pinto reportedly was given permission from his SC Braga club in the Portuguese Liga to go to Bradenton, Fla., where TFC was holding pre-season training.
