Our First Look at Heidi Watney

Today was the last day for Don Orsillo filling in for the departed (not dead) Tina Cervasio on the NESN pre-game show. He went out with a bang, calling Amalie Benjamin “Amalie Brown” leading into the perfect for segway for Heidi Watney. She will make her official NESN debut tomorrow but here is a sneak peak of her from today’s game.

Red Sox Monster — ... . I have promised that I'll give her a fair chance as a reporter, and I will. Because honestly, what we're really looking for here is someone who gets us the news, right? Anyway, Sox & Dawgs has a look at her first cameo appearance on NESN during Sunday's game: My favorite part is when Jerry Remy warns her about all the "three-hour" nights of sleep. I do believe that sounds like life as a blogger, chief.
