... brilliance does provide one of the better team barometers in Major League Baseball history. How many managers can provide you with an approximation of the team’s record and place in the standings without even so much as a glance at either? ... Hey Ozzie, nice 1-0 loss there. At least when the Cubs lose this season, it is close. Plus, how many times have the Cubs lost more than 2 games in a row? Oh that is right, they haven’t lost more than 2 in a row this year.
Sure, the Cubs have some issues (some big issues), but they are still over .500. They also have been able to muster some offensive power this season whereas your White Sox have been as limp as you without your anger-fueled libido.
