Pacman feeds the children and his ego
Pacman feeds the children and his ego
AP Pacman Jones passed out boxes of food and toiletries to needy people at a church in his old Atlanta neighborhood earlier this week . It was a noble deed that I'm sure had nothing to do with Pacman attempting to rehab his image so Sheriff Goodell would reinstate him. Nevertheless, reporters and photographers caught wind of Pacman's appearance, so it became national news.  ...

FRIDAY NIGHT ONE-LINERS
ProFootballTalk.com — Somebody stole Charlie Babb’s Super Bowl ring.  (This story would mean so much more to us if we’d previously heard of Charlie Babb.) The Browns are reviewing the circumstances surrounding the arrest of CB Kenny Wright.  (Translation:  Can we take a stand on principle and cut him, or do we need him since we traded Bodden?) LB Jerrod Mayo of Tennessee and LB Beau Bell of UNLV visited the Browns on Friday . Pacman Jones still thinks that teams other than the Cowboys are interested in him. If Pacman Jones isn’t a Cowboy, CB Mike Jenkins could be . ...

Blogging The Boys — ... this is a transparent attempt at rehabilitating an image and a show for Roger Goodell who holds Pac’s future in his hands. But, if people are asking for him to repent, and I certainly agree that he should, it has to start somewhere, no matter how shallow it appears. At least he did something. Now for your TMZ-style break in the Pacman drudgery. Rumors ...

No trade offers for No. 3 pick -- yet
ajc.com 4/4/2008 — Top five picks are very expensive and more and more teams are trying to optimize value with personnel and price tag. I do think Atlanta is going to get a lot of trade offers for at least one of the second-round picks and I wouldn’t be shocked if the Falcons dangle one to move up into the first round to get a quarterback or offensive lineman. Here’s the story I just posted with GM Thomas ...
Newman says feelings are mixed for Pacman
star-telegram.com 4/4/2008 — Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl cornerback Terence Newman soon could be playing alongside talented but troubled Pacman Jones. "I'm sure it will be mixed emotions," said Newman, who was working out at the team's Valley ...
