Pags: So What’s Wrong With Ian Kennedy?
Pags argues that there's nothing wrong with Kennedy. Hard to agree with that given his ERA, but he makes some good points about the Yankees rushing him.

New York and Boston are the hardest places to play right now and especially considering the Yankee's record thus far, the kid's under a lot of pressure.  He will continue to have chances to prove himself over the next 3-4 years and it is generally agreed that he will be able to do so.  I think Pags is right to say he just needs more time.

He needs to get going right now. The Yankees need him to produce or else they're going to tank. As much as it's unfair to call on a 23-year old for big starts, big-time players rise to the occasion and usually big-time prospects start out great and start to do poorly as people figure them out. He needs to figure out what's wrong ASAP!

I feel he needs more time as well. He'll be fine in my estimation. He pitched well before so it's not like he doesn't know how to pitch.

I think he'll be fine. But how long can the Yankees stick with him? If Hughes also continues to struggle, what's this going to do for Cashman's master plan?

He'll be OK in the long run.    Maybe a stint in the minors or bullpen.    I love Joba-Rivera combo though.    You need to get a lead into the 8th and goodnight....
