Panthers deal Jenkins to Jets for picks

The Carolina Panthers are expected to receive one of the top five picks in the third round of the NFL draft from the New York Jets in exchange for defensive tackle Kris Jenkins. The Panthers are also expected to receive a fifth-round pick. Shortly before 3 p.m. today, the Panthers officially announced the trade.
