More proof that Spring stats don't matter , I guess. Crystal did manage to work a 3-1 count before waving at the next two pitches. Maholm must have been sweating those. By striking Crystal out, he saved himself from what I only assume would have been an entire career's worth of clubhouse jokes. [link]
