If anyone had told us in April that the season would hinge on a return to form from Carl Pavano, we might have cried from laughing so hard. In reality, a few successful starts from Pavano could go a long way toward getting this club back in the thick of the Wild Card chase. The O's will counter with righty Jeremy Guthrie (10-9, 3.15).
