Pedro Martinez smiled and said it was about time. The Mets veteran pitcher said that he had been waiting for things to go the Mets' way this season. Thursday Martinez said that he feels things are finally falling into place for this club.

"I feel good even though I coughed up the lead, because we got the win, and that is the real matter," Martinez said. "I am glad I kept my team in the game. That is my main responsibility and it turned out well."
