Penguins Beat Flyers Again, Lead Series 2-0

After Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, many said it was the worst game the Flyers played so far in the playoffs. For the Flyers to take game 2 they could not get caught standing still and letting the likes of Evgeni Malkin, Marian Hossa, and Sidney Crosby skate freely in the their end of the ice. They had to stay out of the penalty box and play a consistent game.

There was a great deal of hype coming into this series, and there was plenty of reasons for it. Everyone on both sides on The Battle of Pennsylvania couldn’t wait until Friday arrived to see what would happen in the first game. PENGUINS 4 FLYERS 2 Yesterday, I picked the Penguins to beat the Flyers in six games. After watching the game on Friday night, I think my prediction was about five games too many, because this series is looking pretty lopsided.
