The Penguins dispatched of the arch-rival Philadelphia Flyers, 6-0, Sunday at Mellon Arena to clinch the Eastern Conference championship and their first trip to the Stanley Cup since winning back-to-back titles in 1991-92. [link]

I know we make light of hockey a lot here, but I'm truly thrilled the Pens have advanced to the Stanley Cup finals. How sweet it is !!! “Play Penguins hockey and this series is over”. That was the statement I made prior to both Game Five’s in the Rangers and Flyers series, and that’s exactly what the Pens did.
