Forgive us the doubling-up on Cubs stuff today, but we just can't help ourselves: A new story in — of course — AARP Magazine chronicles the plight of old people just trying to stay alive long enough to see a Cubs World Series win . Will Leitch of Deadspin takes a good shot at the Cubs, after kindly linking to our story on Speedy & Company still waiting for a World Series: Old people are cute ... well, at least when they're that old. We tried to reach a Cardinals fan born the year they last won the World Series, but they're too young to be able to talk yet. Well ... um ... well. That's what she said! Never mind.
