Bugs & Cranks — Sorry I have been missing in action lately, New York Yankees fans. There was a little ice storm here in upstate New York that KO’d power to about a quarter-million homes, including mine, for several days. In fact, five days later there are still folks without power. Anyway, I am back up and running. So, let’s catch up on Yankee business of late. While I was away, the Yankees signed A.J. Burnett to a five-year, $82.5 million contract. Burnett went ahead of CC Sabathia taking a New York Yankees physical, but Sabathia will reverse the pecking order in the Yankees’ starting rotation. The Post learned Burnett underwent a physical Monday and Sabathia was at Manhattan’s Columbia Presbyterian Hospital today for tests.
