Carol Mann wasn't born in Texas, but she got here as fast as she could. As the saying goes. The LPGA Hall of Famer and longtime Texas resident now teaches out of The Player Course at The Woodlands. And she was recently named the 2008 recipient of the PGA of America's "First Lady of Golf" honor. And it's a prestigious honor, as you can tell by looking at the list of past recipients.
