Now that the Flyers are out of the playoffs, the city of Philadelphia has gone 100 consecutive sports seasons without a championship. Apparently this is an unprecedented streak of futility compared to other 4-team cities, and we’re all supposed to feel sorry for Philly fans.
Yeah, screw that.

The Philadelphia Soul have joined the Phantoms, Wings and Kixx in Philadelphia’s sporting pantheon; i.e. the one that doesn’t count against the drought. Is there any doubt the MLS Cup will be next?
