Philadelphia vs. Detroit - Recap - December 05, 2008
Marshall's late 3-pointer helps 76ers sink Pistons AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Donyell Marshall hadn't exactly been a key part of the Philadelphia 76ers this season. Before Friday night, he hadn't played in the 76ers' last nine games, and he only saw 2 minutes of action in the first three quarters ...

An Unbelievable Finish
Depressed Fan — ... for Williams. The Pistons immediately doubled Williams. He got the ball to Marshall quickly and Marshall got the shot off before Rodney Stuckey could recover. The three was a dagger. The Sixers held their largest lead of the game at 91-89. The Pistons inbounded the ball quickly and tried to get a quick hoop at the other end. Rodney Stuckey drove right by Lou Williams and cruised to the hoop, but Marshall came out of nowhere to block his shot. Williams got the ball, drew a foul and the game was sealed at the line. ...

Marshal sparks Sixers win to bring Sixers fan back into the fold.
Sixers Journal — ... . I got a chuckle out of jsams post (libertyballers) about last nite's Sixers win over A.I. and the Detroit Pissed-ons. Yes, AI dropped another one to his former team (1-3) and dropped his scoring average a bit with only 17 points. It strikes me as a class of styles. Iverson is more kin to the energizer bunny compared to the Piston's Clydesdale offense. I'm havin' a hard time believing this relationship won't end up badly. [image] As for Donyell Marshall ... yeah the guy I trashed this summer ... Mo Cheeks dusts him off the bench and he responds wit the games go ahead bucket ...

Heels in the League (12/05/08)
The 5th Corner — ... Next game it is Rasheed Wallace playing for Detroit as they host Philadelphia. The ex Carolina big man was on the floor for 33 minutes, scoring 7 points in all and adding 8 rebounds, 1 steal and a block. Just like Wallace, the rest of the team had a sub par night and the 76'ers (9-11) won the game against the Pistons (11-7) by the final of 96 to 91. ...
