Philip Rivers Snubbed For Pro Bowl. Blame Brett Favre.
Philip Rivers Snubbed For Pro Bowl. Blame Brett Favre.
I don't watch the Pro Bowl, mainly because it sucks and no one plays hard, but I do recognize that it means a fair amount to players to at least make the team. And it's for that reason that I'm writing this post. As I think everyone is aware of now, Philip Rivers didn't make the Pro Bowl. ...

Vote for NESW Sports, and who got my vote.
NESW Sports, Sports Videos — Hey all. I get geeked out about this stuff. I love contests and sports blogs. I do not care how tacky this is. I would like to get some votes on the Busted Coverage Sports Blogger of the Year Tournament. This is a great contest, and a lot of my favorite bloggers are included. I am pitted against Big League Stew in a 5-12 matchup. Big League Stew is one of the best blogs in existence. He has put blood sweat and tears into that blog. He is all over the MLB. It is one of my favorite blogs. I am a serious underdog. I will most likely not win, and if all of his fans vote, I will not win. That is why I am ...

Pro Bowl Selction Process Needs To Be Punted
Rumors and Rants — Many bloggers I respect have weighed in on how this year’s Pro Bowl rosters have some glaring omissions. First on the “where are they?” list is San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers. Despite leading the NFL in passer rating (101.4), touchdowns (28), touchdown percentage (6.6), yards per completion (8.23) and only throwing 11 interceptions, Rivers was left off the AFC’s roster. Rivers shouldn’t just be on the AFC squad, he should be starting. Especially when you consider that selections Jay Cutler and Brett Favre are having mediocre seasons by comparison. You can read more about the “Rivers-Favre Incident” here, ...
