Orlando 110, Seattle 94 - Not even sure where to go with the Sonics these days. Former Sonic Rashard Lewis shot a horrible 3-for-19, but it didn’t matter because Dwight Howard erupted for a career-high 39 points as Orlando surged to 14-3. Nine of his 12 baskets were dunks. Where was Chris Wilcox? Kurt Thomas? Nick Collison? So sad. Pity Kevin Durant, who shot 6-for-21 and finished with 21 points. Minnesota 103, Dallas 109 - Marko Jaric, with the spotlight on him now that he’s with a Victoria’s Secret model, went for 12-7-7 ...

... Minnesota doesn’t need Marko Jaric (but Adriana Lima does). His contract is expensive ($25 million left including this season). By the time the rest of the T-wolves hit their stride, Jaric (currently 29) is going to be too old to be of any use. Finally, Jaric’s not really known as a locker-room leader. He just wants to show up, do his job, then go home to his hot girlfriend (my kind of guy). ...
