    It's about time they have a league again.....Unfortunately it's coming at a bad time with the economy and a drop in sponsorships (reason why WUSA failed).

    The investment is more sound this time, with Steve Nash, Jeffrey Mallett, and others in for the long term.

    Some of the executives, team names, and players are continuing from WUSA;  they say the best of the WUSA are merging with the new talent, both on and off the ptich.

    Like the MLS, WPS has already signed up new expansion teams for future seasons.  Many believe soccer will be strong in this economy as a spectator sport, due to the relatively inexpensive tickets and grass roots popularity.
