Yesterday, it was quoted by COO Jeff Wilpon during the Citi-Field media tour that Omar Minaya has been working the phones with other GM's to work out trades and such.
He also mentioned that the Mets do not have a budget or particular number that Omar is shooting for (which I don't believe). ...
