... , too. And I'm not just talking about their 47-25 advantage in free throw attempts. Midway through the fourth quarter, the Hawks got an "And 1!" on a Josh Childress layup when Paul Pierce "fouled" Pachulia away from the ball. Now watch the play. Notice how Zaza puts his arm over Pierce's head and shoves him back? But we're supposed to believe that Pierce committed a foul after that. With all the physical play and jostling for position that there's been in this series? Seriously? ...

A thoroughly egregious call: NBA Officiating....its FAAAAntastic. Note this doesn't excuse the complete lack of execution in the last 20 seconds with Ray's ill-advised three pointer, Rondo being stuck without a passing option as time rapidly ticked down, and everything else that has gone wrong in Atlanta... ... Boston Celtics: I wasn't thrilled with the officiating in this game, especially the Hawks' 47-25 freethrow shooting advantage and the sequence in which Paul Pierce fouled out. But to be totally honest: It shouldn't have mattered. The Celtics never rose to the challenge in any of the three games they played in Atlanta. All signs point to the officiating, presented courtesy of mikemartin, with the foul disparity bordering on other ...

Hawks Force Game 7
soxanddawgs.com 5/3/2008 — It was a series that the Boston Celtics were supposed to sweep, but someone forgot to tell the Atlanta Hawks to lay down. Staying true to form the home team has won every game and it was no different as the Hawks extended their season to at least a 7 th game in Boston with a 103-100 win over the Celtics Friday night at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta. Once again Boston busted out to a ..
Sufficient Unto the Day is the Game Thereof
blog.cleveland.com 5/3/2008 — The Celtic's 66-16 record is in a league of its own, but they still have to play in the NBA. Sufficient unto the day is the game thereof. The record only matters to the extent that those past experiences are translated into present success.
