In fact, as you read this (11 a.m. Eastern) a protest on 7th Avenue next to Madison Square Garden is taking place. Nathan, a Knicks fan and New York native, will be leading a protest on the Seventh Avenue side of Madison Square Garden today, in the hopes of forcing team president and coach Isiah Thomas out of the organization. So, the dentist hopes thousands will show up, but in reality, he knows only about 15 people will be there. This might have something to do with the fact that he planned his protest in the middle of a work day, in 40 degree (possibly raining) weather.
But it probably has more to do with the fact that it's a pointless plan.
