The signing of Artose Pinner by the Detroit Lions on Wednesday likely means that rookie third-round pick Kevin Smith is the only running back on the roster with a lock on a roster position. The Lions didn't bring in Pinner to carry the ball in preseason mop-up time. He's there to compete for a job and that means that Tatum Bell and Brian Calhoun are on shaky ground. Artose Pinner Is Back! Tatum Bell, Brian Calhoun and Aveion Cason better watch their backs because Artose Pinner is a Lion again ! Choke on that Olandis Gary and Luke Staley. Pinner’s main job will be to contribute on special teams but have you seen his numbers from Atlanta last year? Five carries for 46 yards! That’s like 19 yards a carry or something!!!111!1!1!
