Pistons’ coach saved by a detour
Detroit Pistons’ head coach Flip Saunders was driving home from speaking at a camp in Minnesota when the ramp he usually takes to the freeway was closed requiring him (and his daughter in the car behind him) to take the detour. A few minutes later, the bridge collapsed about 20 yards away from him.
