So there I was, sitting in a bar in downtown Washington D.C. last night, shaking my head after the Red Sox lost to the Rays in 11 innings. Nothing could cheer me up, I thought. Not after watching that debacle. On cue, TBS decided to bring its studio crew out to Bon Jovi impressions. Cue the clip : Wow, I feel strangely better already. Something tells me we won't see a similar postgame performance after tonight's game. Or, if we do, hopefully they'll at least be slightly more in-tune.

So TBS aired this abomination right after I filed this post on Saturday night and just before I went to bed. Later, I had a dream about an argument with a pizza delivery man that either looked like or actually was Dennis Eckersley. After watching this nightmare fuel — particularly that scary up close shot of Eck merrily singing along — I refuse to believe it was a coincidence. A big BLS head nod to Ian at Sox & Dawgs for the rip.
