Larry Johnson Under Investigation
Every Morning Quarterback — ... Herm Edwards, it had nothing to do with any of these recent alleged charges. He merely violated unspecified team rules. Which makes you wonder all the more what the heck is going on with this guy. I know enough about his family (his dad is on Joe Paterno’s staff at Penn State) to understand this isn’t the way they raised him to behave. And while we don’t know all the facts, the history of allegations involving violence against women is disturbing. Source: ESPN.com Tags: Carl Peterson, herm-edwards, Kansas City Chiefs, ...

Larry Johnson Takes A Page Right Out Of Pacman’s Book
Sports Blog - football, basketball, and baseball — It isn’t often that players try to immulate Pacman Jones, who’s currently in alcohol treatment, but Larry Johnson, who’s been struggling on the field, found a way to take out those frustrations on something that’s not a 250 pound linebacker that fights back. The scoop: He spit on a woman. Ashley Stewart, 24, told police she had left the nightclub in Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza district but re-entered around 1:45 a.m. to find a friend. Johnson, who had tried to buy her a drink at the same club a week ...

ProFootballTalk.com — ... . On Monday, the report from the most recent incident emerged and, indeed, L.J. is accused of spitting a drink in the woman’s face . He also allegedly threatened to kill the woman’s boyfriend. The woman, Ashley Stewart, had declined on a prior evening an attempt by Johnson to buy her a drink.  So, on the evening of October 10, he spit a drink in her face as she backed away from him. Stewart says that she then was tackled by Johnson’s bodyguards and thereafter escorted from the club by bouncers. Johnson allegedly tried on three more occasions to spit in her face as he left the ...

A Memo to Larry Johnson: Beating Up Girls=Bad
ChicksInTheHuddle.com — ... The notion that it’s cool for football players to ‘hit on” every girl they see seems pretty harmless. Larry Johnson Just Doesn’t Seem To Like Women
SPORTSbyBROOKS — ... Three seconds later, she was DEAD It wasn’t Larry’s first episode with a woman, as he has been accused of waving his gun at an ex-girlfriend during a fight in 2003 — which he ended up spending time in a domestic violence diversion program for — and in 2005 he had charges filed against him for pushing another woman to the ground at a Kansas City bar.   Oh, and it also wasn’t the last episode between Larry and a woman.   Guess what he did this weekend while under suspension. L.J. wearing out welcome in Kansas City
Sports - Pancake Blocks — ... , I couldn't help but think that another newsmaker of recent days is headed for a breakup. Larry Johnson has worn out his welcome in Kansas City; in the locker room, on the field, and apparently in the clubs. It sounds like L.J. will be on the bench this weekend if he's not suspended by the league. My guess is we won't see him for a few weeks, but that's just irresponsible speculation. I was asked today if I thought Johnson would even put on a Chiefs uniform again, which is a fair question. I fully expect him to be back at some point in November and fantasy owners should ...
