... Oregon Live’s recap: ”At the heart of the Blazers’ success was their effort against Kevin Durant, the Thunder’s star forward who entered the night averaging 25.0 points. Durant finished with 16 points, but was dreadful from the field, making 3 of 21 shots. Martell Webster, who checked Durant most of the game, was the catalyst. Webster brought a physical presence and made it a point to harass Durant on every play, forcing him to take contested or fadeaway jumpers. One night after playing ...

... Outlaw remains the worst player on this team. Dre Miller is struggling, really struggling. Martell Webster got torched and then was fortunate to find the coldest Kevin Durant in history. Rudy Fernandez has been non-existent. And now back home to take on the wildcard Hawks!

... Maybe the most impressive part of this win was the fact that the Blazers went most of the way without LaMarcus Aldridge, who went knee to knee with Jeff Green in the first half. He tried to get it loose at halftime, but was in too much pain. It's just a bruise, so isn't serious. Aldridge told me on the flight on the way home that he's just sore, but should be fine to play on Tuesday against Atanta.

Blazers Get Defensive, Down the Thunder 83-74
myteamrivals.typepad.com 28 days ago — First, my apologies for missing the recap of last night's game. Since I only saw parts of it, I didn't feel qualified to comment. Let's just say I was preoccupied with a certain hyped-up football game against a Southern rival. The games coincided, and so I only caught bits and pieces of the ...

Blazers 83, Thunder 74 Re-Thoughts
ripcityproject.com 27 days ago — Not sure how much the Blazers actually won this one as much as the Thunder just handed over the win and said, “Here, we really don’t deserve this.” We think the Blazers have defensive issues, but at times OKC players didn’t even seem to know where the ball was much less ...

Kevin Durant’s brother apparently not a fan of Oklahoma City (or is he?)
dailythunder.com 10/26/2009 — This little topic came up in the comments Saturday afternoon and we talked about it: Does Kevin Durant’s brother hate Oklahoma City? And of course the sinister, don’t-talk-about-that underlying question: Does that mean KEVIN DURANT hates Oklahoma City?
