You be the GM: Greg Oden
Published 5/6/2008 by Sean Meagher, OregonLive.com at Blazers Blog - OregonLive.com
The biggest piece of the Blazers' championship puzzle is yet to play in an NBA game but has still had a remarkable impact on the franchise and the city. Visions of Oden, Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge on the floor together dance in our heads. Two necessities the Blazers lacked this year, interior toughness (no slight to Joel Przybilla) and rebounding will immediately be strengthened the moment GO steps foot on the court. We've probably all played out how Oden ...

Report: Rudy hurts his right hand
Published 5/27/2008 by Sean Meagher, OregonLive.com at Blazers Blog - OregonLive.com
... , says that the Portland draftee -- and by many measures, the best player in Europe -- has hurt his right hand. In two weeks more tests will give a better sense of how bad the injury is. Portland fans have been bombarded with the idea that Fernandez will be a big part of the Blazers' future -- kind of a Northwest version of Manu Ginobili. We'll have to wait and see the extent of the injury, but it's better than reading "knee injury." On a side note, I was listening to 95.5 The Game this morning and Brian Wheeler was on the morning show and teased the fact he would have some ...
The WAW report
Published 5/28/2008 by Sean Meagher, OregonLive.com at Blazers Blog - OregonLive.com
Just got done listening to Wheels After Work with Brian Wheeler, the voice of the Blazers, and his Blazers news "you can only find there." Wheels also said, although there's been no official word he can comment on, he thinks it would take an "upset of mammoth proportions" that Rudy is not a Blazer next year. His ...
