Both had just polished off their best regular seasons in my lifetime, while the Avalanche and Broncos projected to be bottom feeders. Top pick Blake Griffin is out as much as six weeks with a stress fracture in his knee. How did he get this injury you ask? By getting drafted by the Clippers, that’s how.
