Week in Review: Hobbled Dirk Still Delivering
Dallas Mavericks —
How quickly things can change in the mercurial Western Conference. At this time last week, I wasn’t too confident with the Dallas Mavericks’ chances of playing into May. After all, Dirk Nowitzki was still out nursing his high ankle sprain, and it seemed unlikely that he would be able to return quickly enough to dig this team out of the hole near the bottom of the West playoff picture.
That all changed on Wednesday with Nowitzki’s surprising return. His start against the Warriors boosted the Mavs to a dominating win and temporarily put the team’s worries on hold - for about a day. That’s all the time they had to ...

RedsArmy.com - The Voice Of Celtics Fans —
There are 6 games left in the regular season… and the Celtics have everything all sewn up. They’re easily going to finish with the best record in the league. They might as well start preparing for the Atlanta Hawks… because the Pacers and Nets aren’t going to do anything to gain ground.
So that leaves virtually ...

Tuesday Bucks Notes
Brew Hoop —
In his latest NBA mailbag, Bill Simmons spends less time campaigning for the Bucks' GM position and more time just straight-up feeling sorry for Bucks fans. He's also apparently getting tired of waiting for the Bucks to call... SG: See, these are the moments when it's a bummer that my Bucks' campaign never got going. I could have put this on my platform and everything: "Promise No. 27 -- we're going to draft Kevin Love and make him wear No. 69." With the Love/69 gimmick, his Color Me Badd beard and his dumpy physique, K-Love would have had every female's heart in Milwaukee fluttering. They wouldn't know whether they'd want ...
Playoffs Could Be A Go (Almost) After Tonight
Hawks BasketBlog —
Sorry for the lite posting today, we are moving offices (internally, not
to a new building), and I haven't been at my computer much.
Sufficed to say, tonight's game will be a test of wills. The Hawks have a
chance to (virtually) clinch a playoff spot with a win. The Pacers know that
they are done for the season without one. Something has to give.
The way we have been playing of late, I don't think it's out of the question
that we win this game. We are a better team than Indiana, but of course, that
hasn't mattered several times this season. This is the kind of game we have lost
in the past, but with Mike Bibby running the show, there is ...
