USC coach Pete Carroll was reportedly unhappy with one of the drills that NFL coaches and scouts observed his former players run through at USC’s pro day workouts this week. According to Adam Rose of the Los Angeles Times , the players engaged in “a hand-to-hand combat drill,” and Carroll wasn’t happy to see it. ... Pro Day tomorrow and it figures to be another big event. It may not receive as much attention as last year's, which USA Today dubbed the top workout in the country, but maybe they're fine with less attention this year.
Mainly because the attention last year was on Pete Carroll's outrage at a hand-to-hand combat drill Kansas City Chiefs coach Tim Krumrie conducted with defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis.
