Matt Cain doesn't get much hype, as he's 6-13 on a last place team. But what Cain has accomplished by the age of 22 is quite impressive, and puts him in some pretty elite company.

baseballmusings.com — Vegas Watch notes Matt Cain is about to join very good company : What Cain has done by the age of 22 is not something that happens very often. Since 1901, only six pitchers have had a K/9 of over 7.5 while making at least 70 starts by the age of 22. Check out the article to see who's on the list. I believe, however, that most of those pitchers got off to much better starts.
